All surge strips are not alike. Look for the UL rating of 1449 to verify that the surge strip will provide clamping voltage. The strips we sell have the best rating when it comes to the clamping level. They also have a high joule rating, to handle sever amounts of surges. They also prevent interference with computers or televisions. Filtering is also available for telephone, DSL, network cable TV, and satellite TV connections.
