KEM Electric welcomes Sara Jahner

KEM Electric Cooperative is proud to welcome Sara Jahner as the newest addition to our operations team, joining the cooperative as an operations assistant. 

Jahner brings a strong background in organization, service and multitasking to her new role. Over the last six years, she has owned and operated an in-home daycare, where she managed schedules, communications and daily activities for the children and families she served. This experience has equipped her with excellent attention to detail and the ability to support others in fast-moving environments—skills that will serve her well in the operations department. 

“This was a great opportunity to grow professionally and join a cooperative that values its members and community,” Jahner said about what drew her to KEM Electric. She added that she is excited to get to know her coworkers, learn more about the cooperative and contribute to the daily operations that support both staff and members. 

Sara and her husband, Jesse, have two daughters. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying involved in her children’s activities and school events. 

In her new role, Jahner will assist the operations team as we continue providing safe, reliable electric service to our members across the region.
