March Touchstone Energy Student of the Month

In strides to support local students and schools, KEM Electric Cooperative is awarding a monetary donation to students across the service territory through our Touchstone Energy Cooperative® Student of the Month program. Claire Bader was named the March Touchstone Energy Student of the MClaireonth. She is a senior at Wishek Public School. Claire assists with preschool classes and is active in volleyball.

“She is a dedicated student who is kind to all staff and students in the school. She demonstrates what true sportsmanship should look like on and off the court,” says Claire’s nominator.

Throughout the school year, KEM Electric chooses one student at random who has been nominated from the schools in KEM Electric’s service area to receive monetary sponsorship in partnership with Touchstone Energy Cooperative. The sponsorship money can be utilized for the student’s choosing for school activities.

In April, KEM Electric is accepting nominations for students who are homeschooled or live outside the service area, who are dependents of a KEM Electric member. The deadline for nominations is April 15. This sponsorship is open to K-12 students.
