Touchstone Energy Student of the Month: Larson from Kidder County Public School
KEM Electric Cooperative believes in supporting local students and schools in our service territory. Bryce Larson was named the November Touchstone Energy® Student of the Month. Larson is a senior at Kidder County Public School and is active in various sports, FFA and other school programs.
“What really makes Bryce stand out, is his character. He’s grounded in his faith, treats others with kindness and respect, and is always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear. Whether it's in the classroom, on the field, or in the hallway, he sets an example that others naturally follow,” says Larson’s nominator.
Larson plans to use the funds towards Kidder County Public School’s Coaches Club, which provides funding assistance for students to attend camps and activities.
Throughout the school year, KEM Electric chooses one student at random who has been nominated from the schools in KEM Electric’s service area to receive monetary sponsorship in partnership with Touchstone Energy Cooperative. The sponsorship money can be utilized for the student’s choosing for school activities.
In December, KEM Electric is accepting nominations for students from Linton Public School. The deadline for nominations is Dec. 15. This sponsorship is open to any K-12 student.
Visit our Touchstone Energy Student of the Month page to nominate a student or for more information on the program.
