Touchstone Energy Student of the Month: Sperle from Napoleon Public School

Touchstone Energy Student of the Month: Sperle from Napoleon Public School

In strides to support local students and schools, KEM Electric Cooperative is awarding a monetary donation to students across the service territory through our Touchstone Energy Cooperative® Student of the Month program. Kendall Sperle was named the January Touchstone Energy Student of the Month. She is the daughter of KEM Electric members, Chris & Jamie Sperle. Kendall is a senior at Napoleon Public School. She is active in many activities throughout the school and community, including a mentorship program.

“Kendall is an outstanding student who works hard to pour time and energy into her community,” says Kendall’s nominator. “She is the type of student who leads by example and always does the right thing even when no one is watching.”

Kendall plans to use the funds towards supporting activities within the school.

Throughout the school year, KEM Electric chooses one student at random who has been nominated from the schools in KEM Electric’s service area to receive monetary sponsorship in partnership with Touchstone Energy Cooperative. The sponsorship money can be utilized for the student’s choosing for school activities.

In February, KEM Electric is accepting nominations for students from Strasburg Public School. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 15. This sponsorship is open to any K-12 student.

Visit our Touchstone Energy Student of the Month page to nominate a student or for more information on the program.
